Stop — Full
This is Stop. A short interrupt for when you are about to react on autopilot. Stop. Take a breath. Notice what is here. Then proceed on purpose. Up to about a minute — shorter is fine.
[Pause 3s]
You can stay where you are — sitting, standing, wherever this moment finds you. Eyes open is best for this one. You stay in the scene.
[Pause 3s]
What this offers is a pause before the next move. Not a lecture. Not a long sit. Just enough space to choose.
[Pause 3s]
Many coping programs teach a short pause like this — stop, take a breath, notice what is here, then proceed. Our name for it is Stop. It is a portable mid-day interrupt — not a full treatment plan.
[Pause 3s]
This must be clear. This is not therapy, and it is not medical advice. It is not a substitute for care, and it is not for crisis. If you are in heavy distress, please reach out to someone who can help.
[Pause 3s]
If you want a timer, a Breath Loop can hold about a minute — one breath on each finger. Optional. Or just follow the guidance. You may finish early.
[Pause 3s]
Here is what you do.
[Pause 3s]
First — stop. Freeze the next automatic move. Hands still. Words held. Then take one ordinary breath. In. Out. Then notice what is here — in the body, or in the mind — without fixing it. Then proceed. Choose the next small step on purpose. That is the whole move.
[Pause 4s]
Get ready. We start now — follow along with me.
[Pause 2s]
Stop. Freeze the next automatic move.
[Pause 3s]
Take one ordinary breath. In. Out.
[Pause 4s]
Notice what is here. Body. Mind. No need to fix it.
[Pause 5s]
Now proceed. Choose the next small step on purpose.
[Pause 3s]
Alright — that brings us to the end.
A couple of times with the guidance — then try this interrupt on your own.
Thank you for stopping with me.
