Loop — Full

This is a Breath Loop. One breath on each finger — about a minute.

[Pause 3s]

It is for settling the mind in daily life. Mid-day. Waiting in line. Or quietly on a call. A small thing just for you. No one has to notice.

[Pause 3s]

Make yourself comfortable — sitting, standing, whatever works right now. Eyes can stay open.

[Pause 3s]

What you get is a calmer mind. Returning to the breath is a reliable way to work with stress. I use this touch-counting to pace about a minute.

[Pause 3s]

This is not therapy, and it is not medical advice. If you are carrying something heavy, please find someone qualified to help.

[Pause 3s]

Here is the move.

[Pause 3s]

Let your index finger hover above your thumb. On the next breath in, let them touch — a gentle touch, rather than a tap. Then middle finger. Then ring. Then pinky. Then come back the same way.

[Pause 4s]

When the index returns to the thumb, that closing breath completes the loop — it brings you back to where you started. One extra breath on that touch is fine if you want it.

[Pause 3s]

No counting out loud. No words. Your fingers hold your place.

[Pause 3s]

We start now. Get your hand ready — feel free to follow along.

[Pause 2s]

Index finger hovering above the thumb. Breathe in. Touch.

[Silence 8s]

Breathe in. Middle finger.

[Silence 8s]

Breathe in. Ring finger.

[Silence 8s]

Pinky finger.

[Silence 8s]

Now come back the same way. Ring finger.

[Silence 8s]

Middle finger. Closing breath — index returns. One extra breath there is fine.

[Silence 8s]

Let your hand rest.

Alright — that is your Loop.

You can do this a couple of times until you can run it on your own, without guidance.

Thank you for breathing with me.
